Friends & Friends of Friends Vol. 9 Release Party

Tender Loving Empire will be releasing the 9th annual installment of our Friends & Friends of Friends compilation series on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 .

This year’s edition features 39 tracks from some of our favorite musicians, many of whom are based in our beloved home of Portland, OR. The compilation hosts appearances from an array of artists who have releases on Tender Loving Empire, and others who release music with our cherished comrade labels including Sub Pop, Polyvinyl, Anti- and more. We invite you to grab a beverage, find a comfortable seat and enjoy this year’s batch of muses.

The release show will take place on Thursday, November 3rd at Holocene. Tickets will be $9, and this will be the first place the compilation CD’s will be available. Proceeds from the sale of the compilation CD's on the night of the release show will go to Call to Safety, a Portland non-profit offering a women's crisis line focused on social justice, community education and empowerment. The lineup features a handful of artists featured on the project including Mo Troper, Cat Hoch, Slow Corpse, Astro Tan, Glasys, and No Aloha.

This dual disc CD only project, which comes on custom die cut chipboard packaging featuring high quality inks, will be available at all 3 TLE stores and online Friday, November 4th .
