To support those affected by the gas explosion on NW 23rd, shops and companies in the Nob Hill area are hoping to help rebuild the neighborhood. On November 12th, the Saturday of Giving Benefit will be held along 23rd Ave.

The event will include discounts at select stores, special drinks in shops, and donation boxes for the community to contribute to the fundraising efforts. All the donation proceeds will go directly to the businesses and employees affected by the explosion. For every $5.00 a community member donates, they’re entered in a raffle.

If you'd like to donate directly to the fund, you can do that here:

{The NW 23rd Employee Relief Fund is now closed. It was a great success--it raised over $9700, which was distributed to 24 workers who lost work as a result of the explosion. Many of these businesses will feel the effects of the explosion for years to come, so remember to shop NW 23rd to continue to help them along!}
